Tips to Make a Good Unboxing experience

Whether you’re seeing customers directly or sending this, you’re sending them an experience, not just a few items. That means, you’ve got to make the unboxing experience great for them, and give them something eye-catching, and good to use.

With social media really pushing for the unboxing that’s done with this, packaging of products are vital to success, and creating the right unboxing experience is vital. Here, we’ll give you the secrets to creating unboxing experiences that’ll definitely offer a successful business.

Get Branded Packaging

Branded packaging is one that offers you a chance to look better than the other guys. Custom packaging, such as boxes, tissue paper, and even cards thanking the person are great for unboxing things.

Adding different branding and the like offer ways to create a better, more rewarding kind of packaging that’s there. Try not to be too annoying with the branding, but make sure at least the name and the logo is on there. The packaging is something that does help with the retention of customers, and it does boost loyalty, so if you choose to invest, that’s a very wise idea.

If you can only get small amounts, you should also consider the color of your brand, utilize it with this, and try to incorporate it in the inserts such as tissue paper and the like.

Give them Other items

People love to have freebies, so incorporate this into there. Free samples, thank-you cards, and even coupons and other personalized touches add a better packaging experience for those out there. This is good because it shows customers that there is indeed a person behind the things that they’re getting offering a closeness to the brand via the packaging. Adding little tokens as well such as teabags and the like are great for building a good purchase that’s there.

Other packaging that’s there also gives you a chance to improve the packaging, and some of the products that you have.

Don’t Be complex

While you are trying to create a unique experience, too complex is very real, and if you offer too complex, it’s way too much, and it can be overkill. If you’re sending them tons of trinkets when they get the package, it’s overwhelming.

You want to balance out the free stuff, with the rest of the packaging, so you’ll want to make sure you craft it with that in mind.

Be Sustainable

This is a buzzword that you hear all the time, but creating packaging that is sustainable is really good for most brands. It shows customers that you care about the planet, and want to reduce some of the harm that businesses do. It also gets customers to do their part too. Sustainability of the packaging has started to grow over the years, and you can get them in different ways. From mailers that you can compost, to even packaging peanuts that are biodegradable, there are tons of great ways to get a sustainable packaging experience.

Align it Correctly

Finally, align everything so that it looks good. That way, it creates unboxing that’s good for people.

Don’t shove it in there haphazardly. That looks super unprofessional, and it doesn’t create a good message. Try to make it so it looks like you  cared about the experience, before you put the items in there. make it neat, make it pleasing, and show to the customers that you do care about the brand.

There are tons of great ways to improve your packaging, and you can create unboxing experiences that’ll get your brand name on the map too!
